Festival: Demon Dayz Festival
Location: Main Stage, Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds, Pico Rivera, near Los Angeles, USA
Attendance: 10,000 - 15,000 (?)
Tour: The Now Now

  • The second edition of the one-day festival curated by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
  • Surprisingly, the band performed "Song 2" with Graham Coxon. The song had a special intro as you can see in this video.
  • Other surprise guests included George Benson on "Humility" and a Cuban trumpet player Leider Chapotín on "Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo)".
  • The gig didn't start too well as Damon's mic dropped during the first verse of "M1 A1".
  • Unfortunately, there was no proper live stream from the show, but the Instagram accounts of the festival and Gorillaz live-streamed some of the songs, including "Humility" and "Song 2".
  • The lineup of the festival: Ana Tijoux, Las Cafeteras, Chulita Vinyl Club, D.R.A.M., Erykah Badu, Gorillaz, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Internet, Kilo Kish, Little Simz and Tony Allen. YOTA cancelled their performance.
