  • The first public gig of Gorillaz.
  • The lineup of the band for shows in 2001-2002:
    • Damon Albarn - vocals/melodica
    • Simon Katz - guitar
    • Junior Dan - bass (replaced by Roberto Occhipinti in 2002)
    • Cass Browne - drums
    • Haruka Kuroda - backing vocals
    • Mike Smith - keyboards/saxophone
    • Darren Galea - turntables
  • Celebrities in the audience included Ant & Dec, Nicole Appleton, Helena Christensen, Keith Flint, Liam Howlett, Jude Law, Jonathan Ross, Dave Rowntree and Paul Simonon.
  • After the main set, Ed Case and Sweetie Irie performed their remix of "Clint Eastwood" from the balcony.
  • A selection of songs were broadcast on MTV (and possibly on some other channels). Also, the gig was audio-streamed live on gorillaz.com.
