  • Blur received the Outstanding Contribution To Music award. The band were introduced by Ray Winstone.
  • "Tender" and "This Is A Low" were broadcast outside the main ceremony on the Backstage program. With these songs counted, Blur's performance is the longest in the Brit Awards history.
  • "Tender" featured the 32-piece London Community Gospel Choir. The choir performed on the song for the first time since 2000.
  • Due to time constraints, Adele's winning speech was interrupted just before Blur's set. This didn't help much as "Parklife" had to be cut off from the end of the main broadcast.
  • During the performance, Blur were a worldwide trending topic on Twitter (see the screenshot).
  • The band's Live From The BRITs EP was made available on iTunes shortly after the gig
