"Tender" featured the 32-piece London Community Gospel Choir. The choir performed on the song for the first time since 2000.

  • Blur received the Outstanding Contribution To Music award. The band were introduced by actor Ray Winstone.
  • The first three songs were broadcast live on ITV1. The last two songs, "Tender" and "This Is A Low", were broadcast live outside the main show, on ITV2's Backstage programme. With the last two songs included, Blur's performance remains the longest in the Brit Awards history.
  • Due to time constraints, Adele's winning speech was interrupted just before Blur's live set. This didn't help much as "Parklife" had to be cut off from the end of the main broadcast.
  • During the performance, Blur were a worldwide trending topic on Twitter (see the screenshot).
  • The band's Live From The BRITs EP was made available on iTunes shortly after the gig.
  • The performance was uploaded on the Brit Awards YouTube channel:
