Dizzzy - you will need to read this thread throughout, to get the drift.
"Everybody's Doing It...So Do It Too...."
Re: B-Roads
I turn 40 in February. I would really quite like to tank a bottle of wine and watch B-Roads. Would anyone be able to share a copy with me in the strictest confidence? Thanks.

Yeah I just saw this – it seems to say the movie is actually called The Great Escape?Mark72 wrote: ↑20 May 2020, 11:49Well this looks promising...... September 2020?!

How did the name B-Roads come up?
Re: B-Roads
no? If anything, it's energised the discussion.
I don't get why some people are so hostile toward those who want to talk about it. It'll come out one day, Damon's clearly aware of it, but he's also a complete scatterbrain and just as likely to keep pushing it back until it never releases. This band is essentially more chance of never performing again than performing again, so what's the issue in discussing a coveted old movie? It's a bit of fun.

Re: B-Roads
Maybe they can patch it all together, surely they have loads of footage from this time that they can use to their advantage and it be perceived as they like. It might not be the 'b-roads' we know of but some footage of that time would be good. You'd like to think they have 100s of hours of footage
Re: B-Roads
Damn bruh after all this time we finally have some sort of evidence of the film
Re: B-Roads
I read that B-Roads includes a live and open air performance of Best Days. They played it at the beacshside at an old pier theater. Does anybody know at which town it was?

Re: B-Roads
Yeah Drew!!Today, the best generally available source of information on the film is a book by a Boston-based Blur super geek and avid harvester of the band’s live recordings called ‘Black Book’, where it’s referred to as ‘B-Roads’, although Ceri has no idea where this name came from
It is interesting that the film was brought up because it's so old how many non Blur fans know about it? This article is bringing it to the attention of non fans. However, who knows with Damon saying it's “very nearly, but not yet” to be released. Also, I wonder how much will be edited out.
Re: B-Roads
I bet this topic would not even come to a rest if there was a release.. - given the editing people will never stop wondering how the "original" version was like.MsMagicAmerica wrote: ↑25 May 2020, 13:15Yeah Drew!!Today, the best generally available source of information on the film is a book by a Boston-based Blur super geek and avid harvester of the band’s live recordings called ‘Black Book’, where it’s referred to as ‘B-Roads’, although Ceri has no idea where this name came from

I remember on their official forum, certain ‘mods’ adopted an aggressive and wanky “don’t mention the war” attitude towards discussion of this documentary, in attempt to feel important about themselves, the tossers.
lol true
