interesting...

Graham was central to The Magic Whip happening, so - maybe...
and what he's said about his film score working method (9 to 5) puts him much closer now to Damon's operandus mundi, so - just maybe...

or maybe it's just the usual NME clickbait...

Here's hoping they make another album next year.

Does it sound more promising than their usual "it might happen", I don't know…

Here's the source anyway (The Sun, 15 Nov).

Thanks for the article! Well their answers seem to sound more and more optimistic… I'll try not to get my hopes up though 😂

...Surely there must be something in the pipeline. Considering how much TMW was concealed, this is quite the hint. Maybe some dates and possibly another Glastonbury headline!?

An album is a push, but a run of dates is surely plausible. Mind you, anything planned for next year would need to be announced pretty soon.

Well, Damon will be busy with his Iceland-Solo-Project for the first half of the year, so I would not bet on next year. That being said, I have not heard about any plans of his for afterwards, which is unusual (normally, he has several projects in the pipeline, has he not?), so maybe you are not entirely wrong...

NME's Does Rock ‘N’ Roll Kill Braincells (great read!)

Are there any plans for any new Blur music?

“There’s no plans right now, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be in the future. We are together, we still see ourselves as a band, it’s just there’s no plans to do anything right now. I think with stuff, you have to plan so far into the future. But we’re like a shark, we have to keep moving, so everyone feels like it, I’m sure we’ll get together and it’ll happen.”

Great read. Graham is such a lovely chap.

It's funny how for latter day Blur he is the one who carries the flag most. Back in the mid to late 90s, when it all kicked off, he seemed to portray a bit of ambivalence towards the band being big superstars, before eventually leaving after a few years of relationship breakdowns.. It seems he's really making up for it now. If it wasn't for his determination we wouldn't have had TMW and he always gives the most positive responses when asked the Blur question in interviews.

Dont think it'll happen now after Alex's daft tweet.
