It does!

and in all the years from all the 90s bonus cd2s, this is the best ever, even more so than the Blur, the 4 main extra tracks are that good they could be swapped for the quality album tracks, plus the remixes are actually decent.
A pretty amazing comeback without major radio support, tv etc. no 3 in the the midweek album chart!

Saw them live in York last night, simply amazing, they threw in the Roses "I Am The Resurrection" and stormed it, well those lazy gits can't be bothered so why not lol.

That is a shrewd move, doing such an indie cover.
I imagine it went down a storm with the crowd

Yeah and they are so brilliant live, here's some fan footage from secret 200 only gig the other week.

Never a massive fan of the Shed men but I did like On Standby, Chasing Rainbows, and Burn Down the Disco.
Anything of that quality on the new album?

Yeah "Room In My House" "Better Days" "It's Not Easy" "Said I'm Sorry" "Enemies And Friends"
As we all know the "bonus" cd of most bands albums are normally well dodgy, well the crazy thing is the 4 bonus tracks from the album sessions are even better than the main album imo!
No mainstream radio play or tv etc and still top 10 album, no 1 vinyl and amazing live at the minute, so underrated, never helped that they are just such nice lads lol.

I received the Shed Seven album for Christmas.
The first play of CD1 had me thinking "this is Shed Seven, no more and no less"....
It is making more impact with subsequent plays. It is a good album with energy.
They have a nod to the present time with the crowd-type vocal on the opening track.
Though the album as a whole has a very Britpop feel, with e.g. 'It's Not Easy' reminiscent of Dodgy with its guitar riffs and brass section. And that is no bad thing

Yep, quite amazing, the strength of been one of the best live bands out there has given them so much momentum this last 12 months. (such a much better live band than even in their heyday)
...and if the album had been released in the summer, on those no 8 sales figures it would have been a number one album! released at the height of the pre Christmas music sales not the best plan by their major label.

I didn't know it got to number 8
Though like the recent Black Grape album, it is, quite frankly, on a level with anything they did in the 90s.
