I just find them really bland. Nothing new/exciting.tom_cas1 wrote:How are they safe? They make great music.stephen wrote:They are a very safe band, they remind me of travis. People only seemed to like them because there wasn't much else at the time.

Re: Arcade Fire
The album is laughably bad, it's genuinely become one of my 'so bad it's good' albums.

Re: Arcade Fire
I don't get the new album hate. Is it just people reading critics writing their opinions on an album before it's release Or initial release? I just hear good music and awesome melodies especially. Put Your Money On Me, Good God Damn, Everything Now, Chemistry, We Don't Deserve... Brilliant songs to my taste, but maybe my taste sucks
A lot of it reminds me of Think Tank Blur, late 70's early 80's bowie and talking heads. Electric blue is tom tom club

Compared to what? It's not like common people like anything new/exciting anywaystephen wrote:I just find them really bland. Nothing new/exciting.tom_cas1 wrote:How are they safe? Compared to anything. I would just say they fit in the coldplay/travis/keane category. They make music which is listenable / radio friendly. It's worked for them and they have a lot of fans from it, but my personal preference is when I hear a song/album and there's new elements to it or it takes a new direction that I haven't heard before.metalhipslop wrote:Compared to what?
