Re: Introduce Yourself (Hello to all the new users)
Just discovered this thread!
Hello everyone, I'm meznez and I'm from the most isolated capital in the world (Perth, Western Australia) which makes me feel incredibly lucky to have seen Damon live a few times!! I've been in love with Gorillaz since I was 6 after hearing Clint Eastwood on the radio, and then my obsession with blur started after finding out that Damon was 2D (which was embarrassingly about three years after listening to the two bands a few times). Was redirected here from r/blur, and I'm very happy I was. This is a great, active forum! Looking forward to discussing various blur topics with you all.

Hi everyone, I am new here, and perhaps you could give me a hand with this:
Where can I get videos of Blur on the studio recording 13 and Think Tank...interested of any videos of that time during studio sessions. Thanks a lot
Gaston

Welcome Westwaywalk.
Your name will forever remind me of one of the more irritating occasional members on here, but I'm sure you'll be a far more pleasant forum contributor than them.

Hello everybody, I'm Jon and I've been a long time lurker of Veikko's forum and the defunct official forum as well, and I decided it's time for me to join and share the love for the best band in the world.
I first heard of Blur around 97, but for a few years I only had the chance of listening to handful of their singles like Song 2 and Coffee And TV. Around 2001 I bought The Best Of, and it completely blew my mind, all those songs I had never heard before in my life showed a whole new dimension and depth to this band I only knew from their singles. From then on I became a full fledged fan, and Blur's music has been the soundtrack of my life for the last 15 years or so. It's the only band I can listen to any day and never become tired of it.
Watching Blur live in 2013 for the first time was magic, a dream come true, so imagine my joy when The Magic Whip was released this year. While I enjoy their side projects, I hope this album is not the last we hear of them.
So, cheers everybody, looking forward to have a great time in here!

Lurker checking in - I'm Jocelyn, one of those elusive American fans from Massachusetts. I've long been aware of Blur but only got into them four or five years ago. It was one of those love-at-first-listen situations.
I've had the privilege of seeing the band twice: first, I flew to Ireland last month to see them headline Electric Picnic, which made for a great end of summer by fulfilling my teenage dreams of seeing Blur and attending my first European festival. My second show was this weekend's at MSG. Not only was it even better than the first time, but it also happened to fall on my 20th birthday which made for one of the greatest nights of my life. I'm still not over that show and probably won't be for a while.
I'll probably remain pretty quiet, but I'll be around!

Hey, I'm 2dan4me. I'm an aspiring musician, and I'm good friends with AdvertBreak, TripleJay97, and Forever Low Man. I'm not a huge Blur fan, but my favorite Blur song is the Beagle 2 version of Far Out. Make of this what you will.
http://2dan4me.bandcamp.com is where all the best music is. I know because I make it.
