Hello all, I'm from London, Blur fan since '94 Parklife era. Never knew about the old forum, only recently discovered this place

Lucky enough to have seen Blur 4 times (95 Wembley Arena, 99 Brixton, 2009 Glastonbury and 2013 Wokverhampton). Never thought I'd have the chance to make it a 5th time...

speaking of monkey dance, here I come

I'm Funky Monkey, I'm a 22 years old French boy.
First of all if I write badly: well I study English at the university but I'm not a perfect student xD
Well, I'm fan of Gorillaz since the debut and I'm a fan of Blur since the 2009 reunion thanks to Midlife, and then I'm a fan of Damon Albarn in general

I looked at the old forum and at the Gorillaz-Unofficial as guest maybe since 2009, and to this forum since the old close.
I registered in the old forum and in the Gorillaz one few hours before they went down sooo.. sorry if that one close, I'm maybe cursed ! xD

Yes ! and it will be the firt time I see Blur ! and in July I go to the Festival des Vieilles Charrues (it's not far from my town) and there will be Tony Allen review with Damon Albarn (second time with Blur gig that I will see him live, a month later ^^)

I saw them at Mode secret gig in March (that was the first time i saw them live) and I'll be in Paris too in June. I think Damon will be in Belgium (Dour festival, which is about a 45 minutes drive from where i live) mid July but I don't think i will be able to make it. Besides, I'm a huge fan of Graham's solo work but i don't know that much about damon's.

Hello there, Blur's fan from Russia here! I'm 19 years old and I started listening to the band around 2 years ago. I've never heard anything else apart from Song 2 and did not come through Gorillaz (because I didn't like them at the time). A friend of mine suggested that I should take a look at their stuff and I got hooked after listening to "Think Tank" (may be my favourite album of all artists that I listen to) and after watching "No Distance Left to Run" documentary. I was extremely lucky to attend Blur's first Russian show in 10 years and I also got Dave's drumstick which literally came out of nowhere and hit me in my ear

So, there I am now - in time for "The Magic Whip" and hopefully many more things to come!
