Guerra dos Mascates (in Portuguese)
El increíble señor Galgo (in Spanish), written by a friend of mine.

I'm reading:
Graham Greene - Our Man in Havana

and dipping into:
George Orwell - Decline of the English Murder (short essays so easy to pick up/put down).

Is it nice "Bit of a Blur"?
I've just finished reading this one: BRITPOP! of John Harris. Very very nice and insightful about the Britpop era, with some nice events about Blur.
Just finished also "Going deaf for a living", the autobiography of Stev Lamacq, the famous BBC6's deejay.
Now, i'm reading The Finkler's question. It's funny.

Absolutely. And I love that funny way in which Alex wrote it.

Too many pages dedicated to the beers and champagne  , and to the Space stuff, though....but I love it anyway.

I just misread your post as BEARS and champagne. I thought to myself: "I don't remember any bears featuring in the book...'

I'm Dutch and hardly know a thing about Dutch literature, so I'm going to be concentrating on our classics. Some have been translated into English, such as "De Aanslag" by Harry Mulisch (which I believe won the Oscar for best foreign film when it was adapted for the cinema):

Next up (also reading it in Dutch Nooit Meer Slapen, but since there's an English translation I'll post it as such):

This is next up. Michael Palin's diaries are always an enjoyable read and the first two volumes contained fascinating insights into Monty Python working methods, trials and tribulations:

My favorite novel! I am a huge fan of vampire novels (WELL WRITTEN ones)...I'm on book #3 (out of 4) of Kim Newman's excellent Anno Dracula series. I highly recommend them, he writes about an alternate history from the time of the original Stoker novel to the present where Dracula survived and what has happened in world history since. He includes tons of figures, real and fictional, across pop culture and history. Super fun. Book 1 takes place immediately after Stoker's book book 2 in WWI, book 3 in 1959, and book 4 in the 1970s, 80s, and early 1990s. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I am reading currently, 2 books:

The aforementioned book #3:
