I have noticed autumn setting in here as well. When you have to start putting the lights on again as you get up in the morning.... :(

Forgot to mention we had a mega heat wave last month. 100F+ for many days. No complaints from me, just unusual for here.

So thanks to unusually warm weather and winds, most of southern california was or is now burning up with fires. The fire north of me has burned an area larger than NYC.

It's been getting sunny again and the fact its slowly getting lighter each night is a big bonus.

That's right, not keen on those afternoons when it is getting dark by 4.30pm.

After 5 months of winter, summer is here. Yes, you read that correctly. Spring didn't happen! Straight from winter to summer, temperature wise.

It's all about sun spots and solar flares.

If you get snow in winter it's a good sign of a warm dry summer.

We had 5 months of snow here in Vermont. After going on holiday to Florida in November, my wife and I returned to snow mid-November. By mid April it was still here, and then BAM - summer. Never experienced anything quite like it.
