Req: 96 X-Fest 1997 & Meltdown 1998

Postby Moritz » 19 Jan 2016, 14:03

Hello, does anybody have any Infos about appearance at the "96 X-Fest" in September 1997 in Memphis, US ? The only Infos that I know are that it was a concert for a radio station in an Amphitheater and that "Smash Mouth" and "Candlebox" also played there. Are there any photos (except the poster), tickets, setlist or videos/records of this day?
I also search about infos about Damons and Grahams appearance at the "Meltdown Festival" in summer 1998, together with "Silver Apples" ? I can't find the cover versions and the jam with the two bands from this day.

With the best wishes
Moritz

Are there any ...setlist... of this day?

The setlist for the gig in Memphis (Sept. 27), probably was 95% similar to one of these setlists:

Nashville (Sept.24, 1997):
Beetlebum, M.O.R., There's No Other Way, Globe Alone, Badhead, Country Sad Ballad Man, She's So High, Chinese Bombs, Advert, Popscene, Bank Holiday, Girls & Boys, Death Of A Party, This Is A Low.
Encore: Theme From Retro, Look Inside America, Parklife, Coping, I'm Just A Killer For Your Love, Song 2.

Houston (Sept. 29, 1997):
Beetlebum, Movin' On, M.O.R., There's No Other Way, Globe Alone, Badhead, Country Sad Ballad Man, She's So High, Chinese Bombs, Advert, Popscene, Bank Holiday, Girls & Boys, Death Of A Party, This Is A Low.
Encore: Theme From Retro, On Your Own, Parklife, Coping, I'm Just A Killer For Your Love, Song 2.

I think I've got Damon and Graham version of "Essex Dogs" from Meltdown. I'll upload it when I find it, if that's what you need
