i am excited to hear it.
I am imagining something sounding a bit dr dee but with more light instruments like bells, xylophones and stuff, and then maybe some epic string/drum moments.
I won't hear it until it has an official release unfortunately though

CD or spotify or whatever

Has there been a release date for it yet?

I'm guessing that now that these tour dates / performances will have to be cancelled, it'll be a while before we hear this; presumably they'll hold off any release until Damon can perform the show, which obvs won't be for a while.

A bit of update – most of the dates (all except London Palladium, Dublin and Reykjavik) have been already cancelled or postponed (new dates to be determined) by the venues. There is still no official info from Damon's management though - which is a little... sad? Anyway:
17 May 2020 - Bozar Brussels - postponed
18 May 2020 - Bozar Brussels - postponed
20 May 2020 - Müpa Budapest - cancelled
21 May 2020 - Muziekgebouw Eindhoven - postponed (?)
23 May 2020 - Philharmonie de Paris - cancelled
24 May 2020 - Philharmonie de Paris - cancelled
25 May 2020 - Auditorium-Orchestre National de Lyon - cancelled
26 May 2020 - Barbican, London - cancelled
27 May 2020 - La Cité des Congrès de Nantes - postponed
29 May 2020 - Philharmonie Luxembourg - cancelled
31 May 2020 - National Concert Hall, Dublin
1 June 2020 - National Concert Hall, Dublin
3 June 2020 - Palladium, London
10 June 2020 - K.B. Hallen, Copenhagen - postponed
12 June 2020 - Harpa, Reykjavik

The Palladium gig is a bit strange, I'm sure I had an email through from bandsintown weeks ago telling me the show has been cancelled, but still appears to have tickets available on many sites...

That Iceland show would be pretty unreal to attend...

It took a while for the Brussels shows to be officially postponed. I suppose some like to delay the official announcement/adjustment of websites for as long as possible, even though it seems rather inevitable.

Yeah I think you are right Liese, I also have tickets to a show on Clapham Common for next Friday that hasn't yet been cancelled or rescheduled, although clearly we will still be in lockdown here, never mind large public events...

Waiting for the venues to suspend all performances is probably more convenient for some reason...
London Palladium has been postponed too.

Looks like they're going to overlay some of the vibey photos he took in Iceland.
Well in for this, should be great.

I can't wait to hear today about this project. I feel it will be melancholy music and for me the best Damon is melancholic Damon, it is what it suits him better, in my opinion. let's see!
