Circus and Two's a Crowd

Post by Dizzzy » 21 Nov 2017, 03:23

Has anyone found any new songs from Damons old band in the 80s!!!???
Id really love to hear something new from his 2 old bands!!
I already know that there are some songs released but i wanna hear something new!
like "Reck me" from Circus, or just anything!
Ive heard about the book "Damon Albarn - Unheard (Memorabilia Travel)" The author who made that is R.M Clavier, ive tried finding his contact info but i cant find anything, i cant even find how he/she looks like
It contained songs that damon made in the band circus. Ive tried to find the people that own all of damons songs in circus and twos a crowd but i cant seem to find them.

I had quite a lot of songs in my possession but I thought that if Damon Albarn wanted people to listen to them he would have found a way to re-release them or open up to the public. Feels very much like the dodgy blur film that never saw the light of day. So I threw them in the bin.

There are MP3s circulating (albeit I'm not sure how easy they are to find) of some tracks. Hippy Children is probably the easiest to find, if I were guessing.

Whoooo man forgot about this. a lot has changed since 2017..

Ok so i send graeme holdaway like a whole ass essay in mla format through email about like 7 months ago and he has yet to respond. I think he was the producer that damon worked with in the 80s? idek if he was the right person to talk to.

Idk man i know there are more recordings from circus/twos a crowd out there in the internet. Or someone must have some on like a cassette.. has anyone got any suggestions on what i should do next?

Also Stephen.. what do you mean you had them. were they other circus/twos a crowd songs?

I had like a little album of them on itunes

-Circus-
There I go again
Put Me To Bed
Simple Sin
Buddha In The Bathroom
The Rain
Black Raintown
Burden Of These Dreams
Hippy Children

-Twos a Crowd-
Bitter sweet
Waiting

Did you have others that arent on that list?

Ah this was a long time ago, I think I was referring to mp3's (recycling bin not physical bin). There was a lot of stuff, I don't know where I got them from but I felt bad for having them so I deleted them

Yes exactly i had all of those along with a finished recording of Hippy Children. I don’t know what else to do and as i was looking up the producers for circus i found out that graeme holdaway has sadly passed away :(. Idk man id feel bad if i kept searching and asking for other producers from that era

I used to have that Damon Albarn Unheard thing on my old laptop before it got wiped. I swear it had a different mix of Hippy Children on it with distorted guitar, I can't find it on YouTube or elsewhere.
