ya, not really a fan of that... i'm sure it would be awesome in person but from my perspective it sounds like just some random youtube cover..
damon should of just sang it ffs! with jenny on backing vocals or something. it's annoying when he makes these sort of decisions

Backing vocals for her would've been much better. I'm in the same boat as Tom for the mooost part. But maybe since they're playing it now, we've a greater chance of having Damon do it properly.

Her voice just doesn't fit the song, she sounds terrible. It's such a great song and they ruined it. I blame Damon, he invited her to sing it. Huge mistake. What the hell is he doing?

I'm with you here. Jehnny dig a good job with it. I thought it ended prematurely (no "she made me kill myself") but she did really well with it.

became a blur fan in 1996 (i was 10) took me 17 years to finally see them in 2013
became a gorillaz fan back in 2001…took my 16 years until today...
just coming home from the Cologne gig.
Damn awesome. Humanz works much better as a live party. Even the fact that most lead singers/acts were pre-recorded videos did not hurt the awesome atmosphere and overall great fun. Getting splashed with fluids by Damon multiple times in one evening (oh my..)
Guess it was all streamed so I don't have to get into the setlist here but encore was great fun with classic like 5/4 and Kids with Guns…having me in tears of joy and dancing (even though my body is a wreck due to sleeping at an airport for two day at the weekend)
I will immediatly get some tickets for their show in Düsseldorf later this year.

I have no gripes with the setlist. It's just like the early TMW tour dates where they played the album in its entirety and then had an encore of classic songs. I feel like it'll go back to a normal setlist in Chicago. Which I'm incredibly excited for...!
