Nah, Tame Impala winning (yay!), Aphex Twin being nominated (yay!), and the chaos happening around Ant and Dec are the most interesting things.

Chris Martin did a shout out to Blur saying that Leisure was the first album he ever bought.

"Sing" was of course an influence on their own "Lost!"

Expected they wouldn't win it, but I'd be lying if I weren't hoping more than anything that they would :(

Were never going to win.

Nice of Chris Martin to give them a shout out though.

I don't think they're boring, they're kind of alright.

I'm just a bit mystified by their level of success. It's a bit weird with me, I don't think they deserve to be as hated as they are, yet I don't think they deserve to be as successful as they are either.

Yeah I'm inbetween like Foggy. Viva la Vida was a great album, the first two were ubiquitous but still very cool, and Mylo Xyloto had a good few moments, but X&Y wasn't so much, and they've now retreated into pretty boring pop territory with some exceptions (as I've gathered from the singles, haven't heard the albums. All the singles from the last two years have bored me except the disco one which I've forgotten the name of.)

I still like them though. And I like that they "experiment" (with rounded edges of course). They could have been a same album over and over band but fortunately they aren't. If they're still around in 15 years this'll be seen as the forgotten mid-period era, Zooropa/Pop style (without the greatness of Zooropa and Pop of course).

The only member I think they showed was Alex, after Chris mentioned them in their speech. I might be wrong though.
