Awesome that you won the tickets! I wish I knew about the contest earlier. Is that the only way to get into the soundcheck?
Re: Gig: New York City, 23 Oct
Yeah, as far as I know that's the only way to get in. And thanks everyone! I'll be sure to report any and everything interesting

I'll mention the forum to tweedz if I get a chance, I'll see what he thinks about all of our fantasy setlists
(and apologize for the moans
)
If I was to request a rarity to be played, I'd ask for Swallows in the Heatwave. I could help Damon remember the lyrics

I joined that event on FB but I might stand in line instead. Someone throw out some times you plan on lining up, I don't want to be a dork and be the only one there super early. Also, I plan on not drinking any liquid so I won't have to make bathroom trips during the show and lose my spot, so I'll probably die of dehydration before the show even starts.Sushi wrote:Third time seeing them only this time I only have to drive 6 hours!! So. F**KING. PUMPED.
Anyone interested in this here get together?

Ill be there with you. I want to get there early but I don't know what time is too early. I was planning on 10am. Too early? Late? Where do we even go to line up?sparkiepop wrote:I joined that event on FB but I might stand in line instead. Some press on the show. The headline for the first article is ridiculous though. "Blur are ready to take over America—for the first time ever"

I was gonna head over to MSG around 5 to check things out...I think anything before that probably qualifies as dorkysparkiepop wrote:I joined that event on FB but I might stand in line instead. I was planning on getting in line around 4. Never been to Madison square garden, where do we line up? Is it the main entrance around 32nd and 7th? I'm so excited! Dont know how I'm gonna sleep tonight!
Re: Gig: New York City, 23 Oct
I've talked to a few people who are getting there pretty early. One person said that they'd be there no later than 12 pm. I say stand as long as you feel like/can handle

Also, I just posted about this over in the Buy Sell Swap, but I figure I'll post it here as well.
If anyone has been on the fence about seeing blur tomorrow, this may interest you. Someone on the blur subreddit has two tickets that he is wanting to give away for free. He wants them to go to some good fans, so if you're interested go over to reddit and PM him! https://www.reddit.com/r/blur/comments/ ... _tomorrow/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (you'll have to have an account first, of course. And while you're at it, you ought to subscribe to /r/blur, especially since I'm the moderator

it's probably quite unlikely but does anyone know of a possible livestream for this show?

I don't think there's a special guest for the show tonight. The person they had lined up just had to bail. Oh well!
I'm going to head over around 4pm. Looking forward to meeting some of you!
