In Ye Olde Forum we had a topic for anytime Blur were mentioned or had a memorable song featured in a TV show, book or any other place of pop culture over the years. From The Beano to Misfit, but from now I'll start of with this one.
While listening to the new Sleaford Mods album I heard this lyric...
Idiots visit submerged villages in 200 pound wellies
Spitting out fine cheese made by the tool from Blur
Even the drummers a fucking MP, fuck off you cunt, sir
it might not be one of the more positive posts to start with, but I'm not a positive person

Can we also make a "shittest lyrics" thread? Because those are fucking dreadful.

Sleaford Mods are pretty good. That album is worth a listen.

That's a lot of what they do really isn't it! They're a too quality group though and you shouldn't really take anything they say too seriously

I reckon it's a come hither, I bet what they are really after is a collaboration with Damon.

I heard Mr Tembo in McDonald's some time back. I remember it because the nosiest people ever were behind me, and they finally left just as the song started to play on the speaker above my head. ^_^
For that matter I heard Out of Time when in a Sainsbury's Cafe on the day it opened some years back.
