Not sure about a live stream but RTE are showing coverage of the festival so that will be available on RTE Player. Typical Blur are headlining the one year I'm abroad and can't go to picnic.

By the looks of it, the live stream won't work online :( I've checked on the live schedule list on the RTE2 site and it only seems to broadcast specific programmes, of which Electric Picnic isn't one. I'm assuming that means we'd have to wait for it to be uploaded to catch-up TV after the performance. Not sure if this is just because I'm in Australia, so please correct me if I'm wrong. If anyone knows of another means of watching it, please let me (and everyone else) know :)

It's working with an Irish proxy. I am going to try and record it. Bit choppy but we'll see.

Only about 5 songs so streamed live via RTE, I watched on TV. Good gig so far - band in high spirits, 40,000+ plus into see, Damon tells crowd he is 11% Irish lol - Maybe the full gig will pop up later?

Go Out, TNOW, Lonesome St, BadHead, Coffee&TV, Out of Time, Beetlebum is all they showed us. Grr.
Recording was going well too. Will be up in a few hours. Audio if it's wanted?

I feel your frustration Sarah, As this is a festival and RTE have an obligation to show other artists little can be done. I hope the full broadcast can be made available as it looked as it was a cool gig with Damon on top form!

The first seven songs from Electric Picnic livestream. We shouldn't complain we've been very spoiled.
