5 star for Hyde Park but 4 for Glasgow... think they need to get their margains recallibrated!

Good that the reviews are favourable nonetheless!

That's exactly my point though. I conceded that this was always going to be the case at Hyde Park - it's just a shame they didn't do a smaller gig for people who actually want to hear new material rather than Hyde Park for the 4th time.
Well, they did do three warm-ups plus Wolverhampton and Mode...

I'm assuming you mean the other guy and not me :?

The gig was recorded right? I can't see Blur live at all so I want to see as much concert footage as possible. I guess it makes sense not to play as much new material at big shows like this, but I do wish they hadn't dropped Mirrorball, it's one of my favourites on the album.

Had the best night ever. Blown away! I was front row by the left tree and had a feeling I was around some people from here but didn't want to say anything haha! Loads of people behind me were singing I wanna be adored and also parklife over and over again before blur came on, but the crowd wasn't as rowdy in that way as I expected which was great. Was right in front of the beach balls as they were throwing them into the crowd for the first time and I thought that and the icecreams being given to the audience by Damon and Phil was a nice touch. Damon went up to the crowd a couple of times but didn't come down to where I was, instead he stayed on stage and came out by the tree. The time flew by and I wish I was back there, such a good day.

Wasn't a fan of drenge but I thought the other supports on the main stage were great.

Only just got back from London and the Hyde Park gig and wow, great show and really good atmosphere, band were better than ever and the sound quality was great. I had my 6 year old daughter on my shoulders the entire time with a milky carton I made for her and she had a great time too, singing along to all the songs at the top of her voice, she did me proud :)

Glad to read that we all seemed to have a great time. Seems a much more positive response than after 2012, though that was mainly the sound I suppose. I do think the crowd was better this time though.

Great pics Rich.

I had a great time at this one. Went to 2009 and was way too hammered to remember it but had a ball. Stayed a bit more sober this time and had a great singalong, fairly far back. Most people around me were singing every song though far fewer in Spaceman tbh. I thought it was a really good set and it got to a point where I was pleased it was all crowdpleasers as there were no real lulls in atmosphere.

Saw Blur in Wolves in 2012 and that was a brilliant gig, but as big, outdoor, overpriced events go I thought this was really good. A little bit quiet perhaps but a good performance.

p.s. Regarding politics, someone needs to read a decent, intelligent newspaper. Sounds like regurgitated Sun/Daily Mail headlines to me. Politics over. Love to all.

Had such an incredible time on Saturday! We were all chuffed with the setlist, pretty perfect in our eyes.
Atmosphere was great, even with all the rain (after 30 mins we all just got used to it and got on with it haha)!

Only downfall was we did cross paths with a few silly people in the crowd, one INCREDIBLY tall guy in specific who decided to make moronic statements like 'You weren't even around when Blur were at their biggest' while we were waiting for them to come on. This kind of attitude is utterly ridiculous and we just laughed in his face. He then insisted of standing infront of everyone, completely still when Blur played. Luckily he got fed up of people having a good time and some short ladies next to us complaining and left, so that was a bonus.

But overall, amazing day! Now got post Blur blues back at work.
