Then I asked what the download song was for the ice cream. Then I got an important phone call so guess we'll have to wait!

What? And I was secretly wishing for a gig in autumn. Finally make long overdue trip to UK. Honestly by the look of things I don't think they will play too much shows in support of this record... I mean I understand they are in a situation that they don't have to tour that much but still... C'mon guys what the heck else are you gonna do with the rest of the year?!

Um a little thing called Gorillaz that imo Damon wastes his time on, if he didn't have these other interests of course we would get a massive Blur tour...its a shame unless you enjoy rap bollocks!

He said "not a FULL UK tour like they've done in the past". I don't think this implies no more shows..I asked about the southwest and he didn't deny it or wasn't against it.

I just watched it again and the main things that were said:
There are plans to do a U.S. Tour as the audiences deserve a longer tour. Someone mentioned Iowa and he said that could possibly be added to the list of places as they're trying to do places they've not played much in the past
They'd be crazy not to do a few southwestern/South England shows.
I asked if they had any plans to do any sort of boxsets or anything and he said they have ideas to release stuff that's not been released yet but they have to work out exactly how to do that..formats etc

^cheers for that. Promising, although like I said kind of hard to take anything they say at face value!

Dave's comments on the face of it sound promising for us in the south west (hooray), the US and to get some more interesting releases. But, as always, I think we have to expect nothing and hope for something.
