It was a fantastic way to spend a Monday evening. What a gig. Extra Whip would be welcomed with open arms, but can't deny I enjoyed it immensely nevertheless.

In what world, in 2015, does Parklife get played over Pyongyang?

The world where "Parklife" was a big hit for them. Of course they're going to play it. Besides, they probably have a blast doing it, so why wouldn't they play it?

Exactly. People need to leave their fandom at the door at these gigs. 99% of the paying people there will want to hear parklife over a decent new album track, but why the fuck not, its parklife.

I was in the audience today, and it was bloody amazing! For the people who don't go see the gigs but complain about the setlist : I think blur play for the people in the audience first, and not for the people who masturbate on setlist.fm. You don't want parklife in the setlist anymore? Good on you. The thing is that when you're in the middle of the moshpit and that everyone is going berserk singing the chorus, you just have a ball and that's it.
The fact that they played exactly the same set in blackpook or wherever doesn't change anything, simple as that.
Yeah, they could play 1992, but half of the crowd would fall asleep.
It was a brilliant gig, fantastic band, and very enjoyable atmosphere in the front rows
