Great to see Stereotypes there, but I was expecting more songs.

21 is decent enough but I'd expect more next week.Rubi wrote:21 songs is not few.Lt Pinkerton wrote:Full setlist here: https://twitter.com/BlurMex/status/6072 ... 08/photo/1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

No Parklife = amazing. I mean I love it but I didn't miss it. Better set list without it.

I know, it's not bad at all, but they did play more songs in 2012 unless they were playing festivals.Rubi wrote:21 songs is not few.Lt Pinkerton wrote:Full setlist here: https://twitter.com/BlurMex/status/6072 ... 08/photo/1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All I can say is wow. Yes, only 21 songs but they were incredible. Highlights for me were Trimm Trabb and Beetlebum, The Universal was magisterial and the new stuff sounded great. They looked like they were really enjoying it, the gospel singers were brilliant (and the interaction between them and Graham and them and Damon was priceless), and the venue deserves all the support it can get - superb stuff. Driven all the way back to Nottingham in silence - didn't want to push the music out of my head!

Lovely looking set list. We all love the Parklife album but it's good to see a set list which eschews much of that album for a change. Let's hope that continues. Stereotypes at Hyde Park would be very nice.
Re: Wolverhampton Show Thread
This was a special set list I think, expect a longer setlist with the likes of Pyongyang, Parklife etc all in there come Glasgow, Blackpool and the Valleys.

20 songs (they skipped one), come on. But i really liked the Go Out/Song 2 sequence at start.

Re: Wolverhampton Show Thread
Any videos from the gig surfaced yet? And I wonder if the professional audio recording will ever be released!

Re: Wolverhampton Show Thread
The gig was far too electric, past paced and upbeat for MTH.
I have a few short views but only 10 seconds or so. And yeah I'd love an audio recording of the show. There was a camera walking around too filming the action but only one. Perhaps for the venues website or something. But yeah, the audio was definitely recorded. Perhaps a live album with all the money going to the venue?
