I did a trial run earlier by selecting another one of the venue's events to see how the system works. As soon as you select your tickets, it holds them for 20 minutes. It all comes down to milliseconds when so many people are clicking the buttons at the same time.
No luck this time

I got as far as the "select number of tickets" drop down box. I got the sold out notice on the next page.
Well done Liese.

These tiny pop-up/drive-by gigs seem to be all the rage lately, don't they?

My +1 has been allocated as well, just in case people are wondering...
Gosh, I almost had a heart attack...
Cheers Liese!!

God, so excited about it, apart from that the last 8 years I would have just taken the tram to Wolves, now I have to fly in, being a Blur fan is expensive

If anyone has a ticket and would like to sell it, I will pay £100 for it.

I'm so gutted about this

I checked my emails at about 12:08 on Friday and saw this, then clicked on the link and it said there were 8 tickets left... Before I could do anything they were all gone. If I'd seen the email sooner I totally could have got a ticket

Maybe, but I wouldn't beat yourself up. LOTS of people were waiting there on the dot of midday and got absolutely nothing, me included. I hit refresh and by the time the page reloaded it was sold out. Not sure what was going on with those eight or so final tickets, the site kept saying sold out on the purchase page and the telephone number was constantly engaged so odds were stacked against getting lucky on this one. More's the pity.

I don't understand why the page said it was for Blur Fan Club members...but there was no password or anything. Is there even a Fan Club??

Would have loved to have gone to this. Enjoy it - such an intimate gig is going to be incredible I'm sure.

Still, I've got Paul McCartney in Amsterdam as a none to shabby consolation prize so I shouldn't be complaining.
