Only that it's +8 for everyone else. But fuck everyone else. The only opinions in this world that matter are Pitchfork, Fakethony Leaktano and elasticaman.

I understand your collective anger, but this isn't really Fantano's type of music. It makes sense for him to give this a strong 7.

Really. He gave To Be Kind a 10. He's not really into more (comparatively) normal stuff like this.

True, although he has said he was a Blur fan in the past.

I will give him credit, though because this review was 100000x better than the other one.

It's a nine for me too. And Pitchfork's are the reviews I least take notice of. Too hypster-ish for my liking.

But hey! They are all opinions! :P

Are they? Or are you simply making that claim because they're the only ones who seem to agree with you?

Ha, no. I'm not the one here trying to voice my opinion as absolute, which you have done on a number of occasions. I've simply stated that, based on a great number of sources, the album has gathered universal acclaim from both fans and critics, with an average rating that goes above 8/10. And that's a fact, whether you like it or not.

For me, it's an 8.5 at the moment. That's why I haven't rated it on the rating thread yet. 8 sells it too short and 8.5 isn't an option! :P

Fair enough elasticaman doesn't rate the album like most of us or the critics. I don't understand his apparent irritation about this though. :? Like he's upset because everyone won't fall in line.

yeah almost every comment of his the past two weeks has been really negative - approaching Westway levels. Best just to ignore it, don't feed the trolls, etc...
