Well, there is no 5/10 vote in the poll, so I guess whoever was it changed their minds.

9/10 for now but that might change to 10/10 in the future.

But my god it's an amazing album, I'm so proud of them for pulling it out the bag like this!

as i listen to it more and more,
LP1 is great, despite that horrible "green green the neon green" part of new world towers, i really like it, not sure why its seen as the albums weak spot, i especially like grahams guitar work, reminds me of this bit from the studio in 1999 recording so you ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAkxj9WtMWo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; around the 3:30 mark)

and whilst initially i didnt warm to spaceman, its growing on me, and despite it being a little too long, grahams vcal sections are beautiful

on the other hand

LP2... contains all of 2 songs(1 per side) i want to hear, just pyongyang & ghost ship.
i like TATMOU less and less with each listen

and because of that i cant really see myself spinning the 2nd record at all

i still think its a 6/10
but if i were just playing the 1st LP it would be an 8/10

I'm close to updating my vote to a 10/10, no joke. The album is fucking perfect.

Listened to it driving home tonight (again!) It is just so good. I can still see my eight being converted to a nine some time soon.

It's still a little below 8/10 for me. Spaceman is the highlight for me and I wish there would be more material like that on the album.
Oddly I find some of the song arrangements too dense/sprawling like on "Lonesome Street" and "New World Towers" - probably because my current music taste is leaning more towards the ambient stuff.
Still, the album is better than I imagined it would be back in February.

Mine could easily bump to a 9 too. Only time will tell. Cracking record overall. :)

Yeah this record really reveals more and more with each listen. With the exception of 13, this is probably the Blur album that offers the least in terms of an easy way in, or immediate hooks. It's not difficult as such, but somewhat of a slow-burner. All the better for it 8-)

I'm loving it more and more with every listen.

Even ice cream man is growing on me.

Pretty sure this will be in my top 3 Blur albums!
