I did take another to the counter like a plum, even though my reserved copy obviously had a big 'one per customer only' sticker on it just in case I got away with it. Girl was very nice about it but nothing doing. Sorry guys, I did try.

It was SO LOVELY going in a record shop and buying new Blur material. New Blur I tell ya! Had a nice little chat with the assistant - she said she really liked the album artwork, to which I could only agree. Said I had been waiting for this moment to buy a new Blur record for a very long time. (Picked up the LP at the same time).
Jealous. I didn't get a chat with a lady with my Blur album. But I still managed to get it from a store on first day of release (Last friday) So very happy :D

I had a feeling it would be an instrumental.

That's disappointing, I want my free chat with a woman who likes music too!

Instrumental doesn't surprise me either... still excited to hear it though.

Yeah, sticker said 'one copy per customer plus free chat with assistant if you are first in the shop and they've got no one else to serve.' :D

They are already on ebay for £40.00. It's like RSD.

Bugger, I might not have been first, but the Doris helping me definitely didn't have anyone else to talk to, or anything better to do with her life!

Picked up mines as well. Number 0369, also bought the cd and also the vinyl. I don't even have a record player. Facepalm!

It's disheartening to see so many copies up on eBay already - I hate flippers.

I tell you what, if I get a chance I'll swing by Fopp and HMV on my way home and see if I can pick up a couple more copies. One will be for Aldamasta but I'll put the other one up here on first come first served basis. Don't PM yet though 'cos they may be sold out.

When I got mine in HMV Manchester earlier on they had about 8 out on the shelves still but they would only let me get one.
