Re: Favourite TMW Studio Versions?
Listening to the album is so much of a journey. I'm very sad when it is over though... back to the start!

Revised my vote to get Go Out in the top three.

Go Out, Too Many and Lonesome Street seem to be getting overlooked judging by the comments (I haven't looked at the results or voted yet myself).
Re: Favourite TMW Studio Versions?
Oh man, there are so many great tracks that it's impossible to vote for them all. I love Go Out and Lonesome Street. I was listening to them this morning and I was thinking that we're all focused on the new songs that we've kind of "forgotten" how great they are.My Name Is Mud wrote:Go Out, Too Many and Lonesome Street seem to be getting overlooked judging by the comments (I haven't looked at the results or voted yet myself).

Had to swap Spaceman for Ice Cream Man, that track's grown on me unbelievably.

Re: Favourite TMW Studio Versions?
I think Ice Cream Man might be my least favorite right now. But it's still good!

Really?? It's my favourite track along with Pyongyang. I have to restrain myself from replaying it a million timesRubi wrote:I think Ice Cream Man might be my least favorite right now. But it's still good!

And I haven't changed my top 3 yet!

Re: Favourite TMW Studio Versions?
My top 3 is still Lonesome Street, Go Out and There Too Many of US.

Re: Favourite TMW Studio Versions?
Find that surprising - D&G singing "something new" together is one of my favourite moments on the record.Rubi wrote:I think Ice Cream Man might be my least favorite right now. But it's still good!

What's the verdict on that faint, but noticeable, "buzzing" on some of the songs then?
It is clearly audible almost throughout the first half of Spaceman, and during the opening of TATMOU.
Deliberate addition, or some sort of recording glitch? Distracting, or nitpicky? I can't decide.

It was a bit distracting the first time I heard it, I'll admit. I've learned to ignore it now though. I don't see it as a huge problem.
The odd thing is, on Spaceman it fits! It goes with the rhythm section really well

I think that's for Graham's acoustic guitar on Too Many anyway. Doesn't really bother me tbh.JackS wrote:What's the verdict on that faint, but noticeable, "buzzing" on some of the songs then?

It bothered me at first, now I've learned to ignore it. But it is annoying.
