Ambiguous fluff IMO - the track, not your POV. In an album that is predominantly focused on the break up of a relationship and the immediate aftermath of that happy and whimsical is incongruous. NDLTR lyrically is about emotional self-indulgence in a state of wanting/demanding self-pity, to go from that to the optimistic/acceptance/moving on nature of Optigan 1 (the outro to the album) is not so much ending -> credits of a film, but more ending of a film -> trailer of a sequel

13 is still a great album, but I remember back at the time in 1999 on first play after the brilliant "Blur" album it was a feeling of disappointment for me...

Are they your 3 favourites or least favourites?

Only listened to those three once, love the melody of Ghost ship.

I see what you mean no doubt. I meant it musically, probably should have said that, but as said the track's mood is hard to pin down, I feel it has happy but it could easily be seen as sad, eerie or non-conclusive.

Neither actually, would probably have Spaceman, Lonesome St & Pyongyang as my favourites, New World Towers is probably the one I like least, Go Out works in context of the album, but as a stand-alone track I'm not in love with it.

I picked those 3 more as I think TH might benefit hugely in the studio version, hoping Ong Ong has a bit more depth on the album (although it's sounding awesome on Jools right now) and Ghost Ship could also sound very different on record i.e. producing/mixing etc

Ha! Nah mate, I think that's as high as I'd go. Which is a very high rating in any case!
