I've just watched last night episode with Beck and he's so cringe-worthy *shudders*
He annoys me, the ONLY way I'll be watching his show is if Blur go on there. I'd rather them be on Letterman, Conan, and/or Fallon (might be possible, since Damon performed there last summer.)
Conan would be great. I like him a lot better.

If we could have four I'd like them to open with:

Lonesome Street, then
There Are Too Many Of Us
I Broadcast
Pyongyang

I expect Go Out to be in there though. Just don't finish with Country House. ;)

^ My Name Is Mud isn't keen on Pyongyang either.

It will be the three "singles", I reckon.

No I'm not. Then again, I also don't like Young and Lovely, To the End or Caramel either. Mind you, these are among a very small minority of Blur songs I'm not keen on. I'm not like Westway, who seems to hate more or less everything Blur have done.

Absolutely. You're totally entitled to your opinion mate. :) Westway is too but he goes about it in such a silly troll-ish way.

This is the thing. Nothing is for everyone, and it is fascinating seeing people's different opinions on albums and songs etc. but he is such a troll with virtually everything he says! Ridiculous.

The singles + Pyongyang for me.

(Honestly, the first time I've even mentioned a non-single from the album on this forum. I've heard the live performances once as I don't want to spoil first impressions of the album. No "not as good as the live version" or over-familiarising myself with all of what is yet unreleased)

I've been thinking that My Terracota Heart has also great chances to be played. If i were to bet on the setlist for Jools, i'd say they'll play Lonesome Street, My Terracota Heart, and if there's a third song, they might as well play Mirrorball or I Broadcast. I don't know but it's just a hunch...

Too late for me as far as that is concerned. So I hope the recorded versions come as a pleasant surprise!

Now April has arrvied and the initial excitement of Mode has abated, I might lay off them though thinking about it, and concentrate more on their other work.
