best days is so overated

and stereotypes is so unlistenable

theres maybe 5 or 6 salvageable songs from this mess of an album

True. Perhaps I'm too big of a fan, but I don't consider a single Blur album as bad. Even the inferior Leisure is still a good album in my view. I guess that's why Blur are my favorite band. I like (almost) everything they've put out.

its their third best album, only parklife and 13 are better

it has a better concept and deeper lyrics than parklife

you lot only hate this album cos graham told you to

With you on that. I don't dislike any album they've done. I understand one shouldn't be a sycophant, but there seems a lot of quite strong hate for certain bits of Blur's output from some on here which surprises me. I've never felt that negative about any of their music, I pretty much find something to like in almost all of it.

Several of the album tracks would probably have been better as B-sides (e.g. Ernold Same, Top Man) while some of the B-sides would have made stronger album cuts (I love One Born Every Minute.)
