^It's also on the Special Edition of Think Tank, or the 21 box.

Personally, I wouldn't have swapped Crazy Beat with Me, White Noise. I think the latter would have worked perfect as penultimate track on the record, just before Battery in Your Leg. Crazy Beat I would have swapped with either Some Glad Morning or something else entirely.

I would've kept both songs on the album myself - I'm not a Crazy Beat hater!

I love Me White Noise more though. As for the Phil Daniels version, I quite like the notion that it's the same man from Parklife but 10 years later and he's jaded and angry and slightly losing the plot. Darklife!

Is that the alternative version then? I always assumed that was still Phil.

Well that explains a lot. I've always thought "What's alternative about this really? Apart from the lack of me white noise shouting at the end."

Crazy Beat is the only Blur song I H A T E. It feels like a parody of their punkish songs. I also think it doesn't fit at all in Think Tank, so I always skip it.

Sorry Crazy Beat

The Phil Daniels version of "Me, White Noise" is fantastic, much prefer it to the Damon version.

Do you guys consider it as part of the album? And if so, is it the first or the last song on it?
Is it on the vinyl?

I don't consider Me White Noise as part of Think Tank. It's a hidden track, separate to the album.

To be honest I'm not a massive fan of the song although it sounds better live. Glad it didn't end up on the album.

I feel a bit ashamed that my favourite band released Crazy Beat. I hated it when I first heard it and I still feel the same 12 years later.

Crazy Beat, Gene by Gene and MPRBC replaced by Me White Noise, Some Glad Morning and THe Outsiders would have produced a much more cohesive piece of work.

I detest Crazy Beat and Gene by Gene, probably my two least favourite Blur songs.
