i had the stream on and had to leave... seems damon started drinking when i shut the stream off

They rotate the acts on stage so no one is playing the entire time. The last Africa Express show I saw (London in 2012) Damon played on about 6 songs iirc, and it was a 4 hour gig. So the music doesn't get sloppy towards the end. I find it gets more enjoyable as it goes on and everyone gets into the party atmosphere. Plus they brought out Paul McCartney at that show, which helped

This also included the crazy mash-up of all Phil Daniels songs. Two-hour long "Me White Parklife" is jolly good
