Has Billboard been posted already? I didn't see it listed in the OP. In case, here it is. Another 4/5

I got the CD yesterday but didn't get a chance to listen, am listening right now. I'm 4 songs on so far and really enjoying it although New World Towers sounds much more like an ER song than a Blur tune. Ice Cream Man is pure Blur, though. Carrying on...

Agreed. Can't decide if we're in the minority or not on this :|
I think we could be. I don't see anything wrong with it at all. Upbeat, catchy, happy song. Just wonderful!
I do like the song, though I really didn't at first. The problem I have with it is that where this album really succeeds is in creating a mood and that mood is punctured somewhat by the appearance of Ong Ong and also I Broadcast for that matter.

For me its a little bit like Parklife (which I love) popping up between Caramel and Trimm Trabb.

I disagree with that, i think fits well.

The only things that put me off are the lalas at the very beginning sounding a little off and Damon losing breath during a part of vocals. It's great but not as well produced and recorded as the rest of the album.

The only song that doesn't really fit on the album is My Terracotta Heart, mainly because it's the weakest. I do like it but compared to the other songs it's in a much lower league. Y'all Doomed would have been good in it's place, just remove My Terracotta Heart and have Y'all Doomed after Mirrorball.

Also pandering to fans who want Popscene over and over? I think not.

I Broadcast is really awesome live, but the studio version lacks energy, i really didn't like the production

What an idiotic thing to say...I could list a load of slow songs and say that New World Towers and My Terracotta Heart are pandering to "Best Days" fans :o

Round and round we go... My Terracotta Heart is one of my favourites! ;)

Are you suggesting Popscene fans are shallow?
