Is the UK streaming time 7 or 8?

Initially I thought it was 7, but most around here are saying 8 now.

Re: Secret London gig, March 20
I want to let everyone know that I have now deleted the audio. My original plan was to keep it up until Wednesday but I wanted to take it down now because most people here have listened to it, and I don't want to get into any trouble with the band for posting it. The quality isn't as good as the live stream will be on Wednesdsay, but I'm glad everyone enjoyed it! It was a truly remarkable gig!

Could there be a separate thread in the live downloads section on Wednesday for download discussion only? Just a suggestion
Re: Secret London gig, March 20
I'm surprised it lasted this long. The powers that be are usually on top of this with big bands. I had my mediafire account closed for posting Warpaint bootlegs.tom_cas1 wrote:I want to let everyone know that I have now deleted the audio. I didn't want to take any chances, so I took it down.

Nope I haven't either. I only heard the two songs. It's hard as hell but call me old fashioned but I like to listen to the album for the first time when it comes out from r bands that I truely love.blurvert wrote:am I the only one who hasn't listened to it? I'll try to wait till Wednesday as that is an official listen
Re: Secret London gig, March 20
As a long time fan of the band, I felt very apprehensive about the return. I thought perhaps given the fact that most of this album appears to have been recorded in a very short space of time that the songs wouldn't be fully formed and possibly more like sketches or ideas. Having listened to Tom's link to the gig, I couldn't have been more wrong. The songs seem to have many layers but with many instant hooks. I don't think there's a bad song on there and with Stephen Street's involvement, it provides confidence that the studio album will sound as good. It would have been a different story in William Orbit's hands I reckon.
