Were the 3 people that think A&E is Graham's best album high when they voted?

Agreed. I was pretty underwhelmed by A+E to say the least.

A+E is a great album! It's a great one to thrash around to.

My personal favorites are either A+E or Love Travels At Illegal Speeds. While Love Travels at Illegal Speeds' songs have near perfect melodies and lyrics, I really dig the instrumentation and production done in A+E a lot. It's a sound that Coxon never really delved into before that was very experimental and differed greatly from his previous works (not to say his works sound the same at all, it's just that this one really stands out on it's own).

Why do all these polls never have anyone vote for Crow Sit on Blood Tree?

Spinning Top hands down for me. There are some profoundly moving songs on there and one of them (Home) nearly made me cry the first time I heard it. The musicianship on that album is mindblowing and the whole thing is just an absolute pleasure to listen to from start to finish.

A+E on the other hand is easily my least favourite. Only listened to it a couple of times and it did nothing for me which is unheard of for Graham albums... Maybe I should give it another chance..

I like all the other albums pretty much equally. Too hard to put any of them in order of favouritism as they are all special to me for different reasons and each one reminds me of very specific times in my life.

If he makes another album in the musical vein of the Spinning Top I will be extremely happy indeed.
