Probably after the summer festival season, gigs are usually booked well in advance, I'd be very (but pleasantly) surprised if they manage to arrange anything much before HP, I'm happy to be wrong though.beats wrote:I don't care if they play Bang, Crazybeat, The Puritan and Waiting for the cows to come home 3 times over. That was my thinking, but surely they will be havig some gigs before the Isle of Wight, they won't turn up there having done a handful of tv shows surely?Indiana wrote:Probably after the summer festival season, gigs are usually booked well in advance, I'd be very (but pleasantly) surprised if they manage to arrange anything much before HP, I'm happy to be wrong though.beats wrote:I don't care if they play Bang, Crazybeat, The Puritan and Waiting for the cows to come home 3 times over. I've heard chatter from People Who Know Things that a gig in LA is coming eventually, so I think we can expect some kind of US tour. I'd be surprised if they venture outside of the the big 4-5 cities, but we'll see!

To be honest, I have some songs in mind that I'd rather not hear but on the day I'd be glad to hear anything at HP. I've not seen blur before!

Why so pessimistic?Macducci wrote:I feel that they will not come to South America this time, sad
Graham and Dave already expressed their desire to play here again.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour
as long as they stick with what the setlist said and they play "repetition" (and they come to philly), I don't mind

I'm desperate for some Uk dates being released!
I still reckon despite what Dave said that they will be the final Glastonbury headliner.

nice!!Caitlin wrote:Haha I'm actually in Canberra! Planning to bus it to Sydney and back for the Saturday gig, then fly to Melbourne for the Tuesday, Perth for the Thursday, and back to Canberra. One of the great things about Canberra is that no bands ever come here, so it makes flying around the country to see one I love seem reasonable
i plan on getting melbourne tick friday (fridays also me pay day so hopefully i can a ticket before they all disappear but im sure it'll be all good!!).

Chin up! You lot in South America have a much better shot of seeing them again than those of us in the USA do!Macducci wrote:I feel that they will not come to South America this time, sad

I have feeling they will play some arenas in the US, maybe because I have seen more press coverage than I expected for the release???MrMagpie wrote:Chin up!
