Dunno if it was posted before, but here it goes:

Tweedz said:

"I think we have quite a lot of [younger fans], from going to shows," he told Music Week. "In Mexico, South America 8-) and the far east, Jakarta and Hong Kong, the gigs were ridiculous.
"These were big events and had young people, a bit like it as 20 odd years ago, except we're a bit older. It's very odd and weirdly jammy, I think, that you can do that."
"In the '90s, the world was obsessed with going to Japan and breaking America, and now these new audiences in really interesting parts of the world have cropped up, so you have to go and visit them
."

The guitarist also noted that there was less expectation for the band to tour relentlessly while balancing a hectic release schedule since returning to the musical landscape.
"There doesn't seem to be a pressure to tour and tour and tour until you drop dead these days," he said. "Maybe there is a bit, but we don't take any notice, I guess. In the '90s there was a pressure to come up with an awful lot to put on singles. You had CD one, CD two, a 12" and a 7". You were on tour more of the time so it was impossible to record.
"It was a bit crazy trying to get enough songs to put on releases, because there were so many formats. Part of the reason Blur crashed for a little while was that the treadmill was kind of ridiculous. We needed a bit of a rest."

A few 'The Magic Whip' start to finish gigs would make my dreams come true right now.

Just noticed that on Q , Alex says that Phil Daniels will join them at the Hyde Park gig . I was kind of hoping they would rest that one.

They were never going to drop Parklife, especially for Hyde Park. I just hope they don't play Country House and Sunday Sunday again. Had enough of those two.

Country House, Sunday Sunday, Jubilee and Tracy Jacks are all due for retirement IMO.

I... prefer Country House and Sunday Sunday to Parklife or Jubilee.

But if I know that if I get to go to a gig this time I'll be glad with whatever they play  It'd be great if they announced something this week!

i would like Parklife to be dropped, but it won't be as Phil Daniels confirmed will be here there and everywhere with the lads. *groan*

I don't care if they play Bang, Crazybeat, The Puritan and Waiting for the cows to come home 3 times over. We need tour dates!!
