The reason that the Australian dates were announced yesterday is because that's the date most splendour sideshows were announced. Think it just timed nicely with the album release tbh, but maybe not linked.

London have a show, I think we need a northern date. Newcastle would be good :D

I just hope they get the Chinese fella to come and do his little dance on stage with his good lady at hyde park. Perhaps the ticket prices are to cover his air fare.

Nah, it'll be right. None of them will sell out right away... I have my concerns about whether they'll be able to sell out Rod Laver totally at all. Any idea of the capacity for the Perth venue? Reckon all three won't sell out till way closer to the dates.

You are most likely right. The Perth Arena is massive, i'm not sure if any band has actually sold out there haha. But still I worry.

They'll get quite a few in Melbourne. I know a lot of people who are not blur fans as such but plan to go out of nostelga. Only need about 12,000 to get full looking at Rod Laver. Won't sell out straight away but will get close enough.

In fact I've got a ticket for everything i've wanted to see at Rod Laver, even supposed sold out gigs on the day of the gig.

Are you in Victoria Caitlin? Do i vaguely remember you saying you were somewhere near Ballarat? (I could be completely wrong on that one) I'm In Bacchus Marsh so just down road if that was the case.

Haha I'm actually in Canberra! Planning to bus it to Sydney and back for the Saturday gig, then fly to Melbourne for the Tuesday, Perth for the Thursday, and back to Canberra. One of the great things about Canberra is that no bands ever come here, so it makes flying around the country to see one I love seem reasonable :P

I dreamt last night that the announcement of more dates (in the UK) was announced for Monday.

I feel like I am getting a little mad these days due to this band.

I dreamt that I got invited to a secret Blur show with only about 20 people in attendance and Alex offered me his last cigarette after the show. I then helped the band pack away the gear, then woke up. It was amazing.
