@Daysleeper so is it just popstars you don't wanna see at Glastonbury? Are you opposed to electronic acts and hip hop acts for example? (Not trying to start an argument here by the way, just curious!) :)

Not announced yet. Could be any day really. Likely to be Friday. I hate festivals but Blur, Mark Ronson and Jamie T all have me tempted... :S

Yeah I love a lot of electronic acts, just not manufactured pop acts. It's just a personal opinion on it, I like going to see people who have created what they are singing/performing. The likes of Jay-z headlining isn't something Id go and watch, but I can understand why he would be booked.

I'm maybe just too stuck in my ways/the past.

Didn't Dave say Glasto is not happening? Or has there been other rumours to the contrary?

Rumours that third headliners not long been booked and won't be announced until June because they have other gigs on.

A lot of people suggesting it is Blur. Dave could have been telling the truth at that point, but things might have changed.

I'm not convinced but I am hopeful, it is good exposure for the band, although it will take some doing topping 2009!

Ah, okay. So I think that kind of rules out "that other band", uh?

sucks it's on the other side of the country for me. big price, plane trip and all that. So will be something to concider rather than jump at it! But still exciting they finally doing Oz!
edit: I'm obviously going to have to think fast i know :P

Suppose it's well known there is not really middle ground in Australia. It's either left or right.
