I know I was really annoyed, paying that much and a load of random people went just because the tickets were cheap (I'd probably had have done the same thig if I was in the area tbh). Sabbath were actually really really good though, as well as the other acts (soundgarden, faith no more etc)

Soundgarden for £2.50? What a bargain! Hopefully Blur tickets get that cheap.

What do you think on the lineup this year? I know of the horrors, roots manuva and metronomy but don't know about any of their music. I know the horrors are from Essex, metronomy has Seye Adelekan's (from heavy seas) brother in it and roots manuva has worked on gorillaz in the past. I'm probably reading into this waaaaay too much, as usual, but do you think blur have a say in the lineup this time round?

Not sure but none of them interest me, personally. If I manage to land a cheap ticket I'll only be going to see Blur. :)

A cheap Beck ticket would be awesome too!

What people are wondering is whether anything will happen here before HP, that's all.
Exactly, my prediction is: a few "win tickets for this gig" style things immediately before HP, and a larger venue / arena tour in the Autumn.

I reckon things like Brighton Centre, MEN / Phones 4 U arena / whatever they call it nowadays, First Direct Arena, Barclaycard Arena, O2 Arena
MEN arena was awful last time out such a shit venue, much rather they do 2 nights at the apollo like in 2003

strokes blur and beck for 100 - seems a good deal to me... shame the undercard is piss-weak

Big fan of Metronomy here. Just some really great pop music. The Horrors I don't mind, unoriginal but well-executed psychedelic stuff.

Yeah, I'm really not a fan of arenas but I shouldn't be fussy if we do get that. Give me a place with some history or atmosphere like these any day.

Albert Hall in November. That's my dream.

Albert Hall 8 days in a row, an album per night with b-sides.
