Does anyone know whether these warm-up gigs are likely to be before or after Hyde Park?

Surely before.

Pure speculation but I would expect:

- Warm ups in intimate venues (say, 3) followed by:
- Selection of UK dates in medium sized venues and finally:
- Hyde Park as a finale

And then maybe a few European / further afield dates?

Wouldn't make a lot of sense to just do some warmups followed by HP and then a few scattered dates abroad. Don't they say the money's in the touring these days? They have a brand spanking new record out, they probably want to tour it...

HP seems too perfect an end point, although Glasto is after so...*shrug* Pure speculation but if they're gonna do any further afield dates BEFORE HP and the UK shows, they'd better announce them soon, it's already March in a few days!

Damon's pretty much committed this year though - there's the Alice thing plus new Gorillaz and GBQ records (allegedly...)

that boy needs to sit down and catch up with himself! Otherwise he's putting out stuff already a couple of years old - like Everyday Robots and - er - (in a way) Magic Whip (though I do appreciate that it was only finished last week!!)

So, when do you think the warm ups could start? I'm getting nervous because I can't go to HP so all my hopes rely on the warm ups (unless they announce some dates in Europe).

Do you think the beginning of May would be too soon? After all, the album is released April 27th so they only have a month and a half before the HP show
