Yes I'm curious to see what happens as I was thinking an email might have to be the way forward as well. Does anyone know when the actual tickets are posted out?

My confirmation email said: 'tickets are usually delivered 7 working days prior to the event'. So not for a LONG time.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour
^thanks. That makes my plan of waiting and seeing if the tickets arrive a bit more high risk!
Re: The Magic Whip Tour
I know, I know - I thought I'd skip Hyde Park as it's not ideal really, and look out for the warm up gigs - but then I got swept up in the excitement and just couldn't resist
I will still hope to catch a warm up gig as well though, because these really are the ones to look out for. At Wolves in 2012 I managed to grab Damon's sweaty wrist - in Popscene I think! That's a bit weird coming from a 60 year old bloke, don't you think

of course I was 57 then - so that's OK.....

I put me trousers on, have a cup of tea, and think about leaving the house...

Not weird at all! I'd be worried if you had the opportunity to do so and didn'trich wrote:That's a bit weird coming from a 60 year old bloke, don't you think![]()

So I understand that there's a delay with getting the confirmation email for this?
I just bought three tickets for Hyde Park. £245 all in!

Re: The Magic Whip Tour
Tickets purchased very easily using the barclaycard site on Tuesday. I'm more interested in who will be playing on the main stage and other stages. This is after all a festival rather than just a blur gig which is what it was the last couple of times
The Specials were superb at Hyde Park in 2012, they were chosen by the band,I remember seeing Damon at the side of the stage watching his boyhood heroes.
It's a all day event with many other acts and events, it appears to be similar genre of music at each event The Who, Weller /Marr, Kylie /Grace Jones, I'm guessing that the acts are chosen by the event hosts rather than the headliners.
It'll be interesting to see who plays on the main stage before blur, I'm hoping for some good indie bands on the smaller stages, Blossoms, Temples and TOY would do very nicely
I like Hyde Park,it's even better that it's only a bus ride for me to get to

Re: The Magic Whip Tour
Given the support acts for The Who I'll be feeling very short changed if the line-ups as appalling as 2009. Here's hoping for some big established legends like The Specials and New Order in 2012.
Or John Shuttleworth at Mile End:-)

They mentioned Wales and Scotland last week, but other than that the silence has been deafening...c'mon guys, how about some more news!
