This may have been said but...the tour is very light overall isn't it? Huge gaps when they are touring, no gigs in August, just one in September etc. I know they have families and everything, but still.

It is, but I'm not entirely surprised. They did the yearlong world tour thing in 2013...I didn't see them doing it again, even though I desperately hoped for it.

Not since 2003, at least with Blur 8-)

it would be nice to think they will change things up, and gear their set to a stateside audience (movin' on, look inside america)
but i highly doubt it will happen. theyl play the same staple songs that they have since 2009

The less Parklife songs the better. I honestly wouldn't be disappointed if they played ZERO songs from that album. We've had them all since 2009, over and over.

True that. 6 songs from Parklife on the setlist right now. Still just bloody 2 from the self-titled album. Seriously, what gives?

No chance of that, like you, wish they would change the setlist more. The most we can hope for the October tour is they change a couple of songs and I really hope they include There Are Too Many Of US .

honestly thought that after Australia they would announce more dates ( UK and Europe ) . Could MSG be the end of TMW tour???

I think a London date in November/December would be ideal, seems odd to end the tour at MSG. Also I really thought there'd be UK dates in September as they're in Ireland anyway but nothing yet.

Apologies for the double posting, but this seems to be the place that most people might see this:

Selling 2 tickets for Madison Square Garden (NYC, 10/23)

I was off the grid when tickets for this show went on sale, so I enlisted a friend to get me a couple of tickets. Unfortunately, I wasn't specific enough in my directions, so he ended up getting two seats that weren't going to work for me (I wanted general admission standing, not seated). Now that I have my 2 GA tickets, I'm just trying to make something back from that first pair.

So if anyone is looking for decent seated tickets (Section 212, Row 3) and wants to help a legit fan out, please let me know! We can talk about the price -- I honestly just want to be rid of them, and I'm more worried that I won't be able to re-sell them at all.

Any chance of them playing Apple Music (formerly iTunes) festival at the Roundhouse?

10 dates rather than 30 this year. Pharrell, One Direction, Florence, Disclosure announced so far - 6 artists to go.

19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27 September all still to be announced.

Blur are playing nothing on those dates, but the machine will sort of be in motion as they play Electric Picnic in Ireland on the 5th. I did think it's a lot of hassle to get everything in motion for 1 gig.

edit: the more I think about it, I hope not - as tickets are through competition. Had enough of that bollocks after MODE. Would be gutted if the only 2 London non-Hyde Park gigs were competition only

I won tickets for ben Howard and Paolo nutini last year (iTunes festival) and couldn't go. Part of me hopes they do play iTunes if I win again but the other part knows I probably wouldn't be able to go again, so no haha
