Well I for one thought it was great! First time I'd seen them, mind.

I did enjoyed it yes, but not nearly as much as I could have because of the stupid bloody sound problems!

It was my second time seeing Blur in Hyde Park (after 2009) and I had a thoroughly great time. Where I was there were no sound issues. I was leaning on the second barrier with a wide gap between me and the people in front, so I had a very good view of the stage, even if I wasn't very close.

Ah cool, was 2006 i believe, was stuck away for that one too, it's a must to get to see em this time round!!!
You should! If you look at the gigography on Veikko's page, the photos from Graham's Electric Picnic set were supplied by me incidentally. ;)
Ah class!! :)

As people have said the sound was terrible even between the two speakers.Massive queues for drinks, over busy. Not a good gig at all.
I went in 09 and that was amazing. No probs at all.

Drinks prices ridiculous. Seem to remember paying £5 (or maybe even £5.50) for a 330ml bottle of Heineken.

And Heineken had a monopoly on the beer available, being a sponsor - no hope of getting anything with any actual flavour.

Heineken is so rank it's unreal and gives me a headache after about two pints. And now it's the sponsor of Primavera Sound too.... blaurgahghghgh

What was it like down the front? I wanna go there but don't wanna be killed haha. I've watched the HP dvds and it didn't look too nasty down the front just a few rows behind

No sounds problems for me either 09 or 12 so it must have been isolated.

Choose a GA ticket to see Blur on Tuesday 9 June at Glasgow Barrowland and you can buy a GA ticket to see Blur at BST Hyde Park on Saturday 20 June for a combined price of £75!*

Fucking basterds. Let's hope they will use a different promotor for the UK arena tour.

That's a bit of a piss take, I can see see why people will get angry at this. £80 was way too much in the first place, especially considering how cheap Hyde Park tickets were back in 2009. £45 wasn't it? Bargain.

I can't lie though, I'm still waiting to see whether or not any cheap £5 tickets will be released a week or so prior to the Hyde Park show.
