Still waiting :|

I saw people posting photos of their tickets for the Strokes (and Beck) last week, so looks like they may be going out in order. I booked a joint ticket for both shows, so maybe they will be dispatched last.

Love it. I know this sounds a bit sad, but seeing Damon have that on his tour last year, with the Blur label still on there, did make me feel a little sad about the band. Little did I know!

I hope they announce some UK tour dates soon, a big reason why I didn't get a Hyde Park ticket was to go to a small show instead. COME ONNNN PLEASEEEEE.

Ooo.. big day out being one day festival i could sort of pretend to justify and did by buying a ticket *just* to see blur, but splendours a 3 day or nothing type deal isn't it.. Or is it possible to get just a one day ticket.

I dont really listen to or go to the greatest amount of festivals or poppy band things these days but still have this wanting to see blur once before i maybe cark it one day. I mean, looking at the splendour lineup theres a few things i wouldnt mind seeing but nothing particularly grabs me as something that would or could justify or make me wanna lug my fat lazy ass to a 3 day expensive festival for.

Gee wizz i just really hope they dont pull a fast one and hope they do an australian sideshow this time .. Anyone else in same boat here heh ? The idea of blur coming to aus and proactively not bothering to go is an upsetting one but seriously i think i'm a wee bit offended by the idea of buying an expensive festival ticky just to see one band (did once before with big day out and blur... and also with aphex twin at future music festival but thats a silly and completely different story altogether)
