Just the CD and 7" for me tomorrow although I'll be getting the vinyl album next week. Cannot wait, I definitely won't be sleeping much tonight. I feel like a little child again the night before Christmas Day!

I'm both excited and anxious tbh. I have pre-ordered the album from both Amazon and fnac, but I'm worried they don't make it to my place tomorrow. And if that is the case, by the time i come back home, it'll be too late to go and buy it in a shop AND i'm leaving on tuesday morning to my father's for holidays, and he lives in a god-forsaken hole in the South of France where you already have to drive a fair amount of miles to find a bakery  I'm not even sure folks there know what a CD is

Look at it this way... just like Prometheus brought fire to mankind, you get to introduce them to the wonders of recorded music with the latest Blur CD! You will be remembered as a prophet!

Melon:

That is, if TMW is in the mail tomorrow! Otherwise, I'll just have to wander endlessly in agony, asking any farmer I meet if they know where I can buy Blur's latest cd. "A round stuff, that size, you know?" "No, I'm not asking you for beurre!" (butter in french, the pronunciation is exactly the same as Blur minus the L)

If I'm lucky enough, I'll find a tape of The Great Escape

I haven't pre-ordered or anything on the assumption that my local record store will have it, but now I'm getting worried that I assumed too much.

It's not a big chain or anything, so I wonder how much new stock they get, and from where? If I don't get my hands on the album tomorrow..... :(

It's tomorrow though! Tomorrow! After years of waiting, it will only be a few hours until I hold the next Blur album in my hands. I still almost can't believe it...
