Yes absolutely! Love the album cover as it is, so I'm very interested to see what else there's gonna be.

I agree, I love the art and design so far, plus I'm a sucker for the good old fashioned (?) CD format <3

Does anyone else think that Blur's 2012 version of Young & Lovely would fit beautifully on The Magic Whip?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing this morning. It would fit really well. Maybe they should have sneaked it on there to see if anyone noticed!

Presumably reviews of The Magic Whip are going to feature in the next issues of all the music magazines? So what do we think? Something like Q for example, which is always very loyal to Damon and Blur, I can really see them giving this album the full five stars. If ER got four, this has got to be a five surely?

I'm interested to see what Pitchfork says too. Their reviews fascinate me.

I like the Sci-Fi Folk music description !

Elsewhere in the new issue, Graham Coxon discusses the making of Blur’s new album, The Magic Whip, while the album itself is also extensively reviewed.

Uncut out tomorrow? Fantastic, it's always a great magazine and it'll be even better with an full article on the new album and a review. My guess is 5 stars.

Well, it will have an official music video apparently (and a proper one I hope), but I doubt it will get a physical release or even b-sides for that matter. They didn't record more tracks than the 13 we know, did they?

I don't think the band has confirmed how many songs they recorded in total. If they released the single on iTunes along with a couple of b-sides I think I'd die of excitement!

Damon said in an interview last year they recorded about 15 songs. Maybe the 2 other songs weren't very good or are saved for a b-side, who knows
