I didn't think it was too bad. ER is a little too high in my opinion, and The Fall shouldn't be ahead of Phase 1 but other than that...

I thought the fact they chose not to include the soundtrack albums and other collaborations annoying.

I probably exaggerated. It's not the worst Blur related list I've seen. I was fresh out of an argument and feeling pretty hateful.

That's very cool not seen that before! The same website "reconstructed" the lost The The album "Pornography of despair" and it was really good

Interesting. I love the cover picture.

But to be positive, Blur did recover from their dip in '92 to have a full and successful career.

At least we are not looking at that 'album that never was' from the viewpoint that Blur had failed to continue.

I seem to remember Graham saying the lost album myth wasn't real. I thought the track listing contained the B-sides to Popscene though.

We forgot to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Blur's first number 1, Country House.

Blur: "We Wouldn't Get Invited To Festivals If We Didn't Play Song 2" :?
20th July 2015

Blur's Dave Rowntree has said they wouldn't be booked to play festivals if they refused to play Song 2.

Speaking before Blur’s headline slot at Benicassim, the drummer said it's important to play your hits.
"It's difficult. It's an hour and a half set, and there's about an hour's worth of music that you absolutely have to play or we'd get bottled off.
“You know, if we didn't play Song 2 we'd never get invited to a festival again."

Dave went on to talk about who's job it is to put the setlist together:
”These days we delegate the job to Stuart my drum tech. He comes up with the basic setlist and then we argue about it from there."

I know festivals require a more populist approach, but that's surely just not true. An hour's worth? The absolute cannot drop tracks are probably more like half a dozen, don't you think?

I've read the other interview with Graham and Damon, where they said that what Dave said about Song 2 is wrong (Damon might have used the stronger word, but whatever)

Curiously Dave chose only 1 Blur song in his DJ sets in September 2014 in Chile: Song 2
