Glad the Sydney gig was rescheduled! Also glad Damon didn't get in harms way, I would have died :( hahaha

Damon had jet lag big time, I spoke to Smoggy on facetime and he looked fucked.

Also ref the Blur cancellation, do you think it right they tried to shove them down the order?

2 shows in a row, that's gonna be tough , they should just merge them and make a 3 hours mega set

I have to say the interview's not very well researched.

"After eight albums, Damon started Gorillaz"

Blur only ever did seven albums and when the debut "Gorillaz" was released, they'd only done 6.

And Damon's really not that bad in his interview. He's never been the best raconteur in the business and that's never going to change. He's admitted that himself.

I didn't think it was that bad. Aside from not facing the camera he didn't do anything wrong (if you will) the man was tired. He even said so himself. He even made a joke at the end about needing tights and tape shoes.

Goodness folks. My post acknowledged the interview was average but I really got the impression he could not be bothered. Much bigger stars are jet lagged and do interviews with a bit more respect for the audience. I know what he is like but I went out of my way to watch it and thought, well that was a complete waste of time. Anyway...

Went to the second show in Sydney last night. Great show. He did really well considering he did two in a row. Could not tell.

Was that really necessary, dude? I don't see the difference between this interview and the other interviews he's been in for Everyday Robots thus far and you really just sound really whiny and obnoxious. You want him to act differently than he usually does because he's doing an interview for an Australian station? He's always like this. What do you want him to be? Some fuckin' prancy-ass Richard Simmons? For gods sake, dude.
Being known for doing poor interviews does not really justify doing more of them. I might ask was it necessary to call me "whiny and obnoxious"? Not very nice

probably because Damon is very good friends with his dad, Einar Benidiktsson from the Sugarcube
the band Kaktus plays in called Fufanu is actually pretty good too

He's in the band only because he's a "good old friend" of Damon.
